Insurance Officer

The work involves handling cases focusing on reassessment and appeals. You will work in the initial part of the reassessment process, which means you prepare appeals for processing both within the agency and in court, as well as prepare documentation for the court's review of the case. You will administer the formal part regarding cases that have been submitted to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency for reassessment and allocate other cases to the next step in the process. As an Insurance Officer, you will handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

You will have written and/or verbal contact with other departments and sometimes with the appellant and administrative court. Internally, you will collaborate with reassessors and support functions such as process leaders and specialists.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a high school diploma or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • is service-oriented
  • has a systematic and meticulous working method
  • has good collaboration skills
  • is stable and can maintain energy even in stressful situations
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • is computer literate.

It is an advantage if you

  • have experience as a registrar at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
  • have knowledge of administrative law, public access and confidentiality, and the Social Insurance Code
  • have experience in handling benefits within the FV department.

Other

1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Possibility for remote work exists if the job allows. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location: Gothenburg or Jönköping.
